This is a remake of https://modrinth.com/mod/hypothermic. The idea is not mine.

Hypothermic is a Minecraft mod that introduces cold-themed mechanics and challenges to your gameplay experience. This mod adds a new layer of survival difficulty in cold biomes and provides new tools to combat the freezing temperatures.

Key Features:

  • Cold Water Damage: Players take damage when swimming in water in cold biomes, adding a new survival challenge.
  • Frostweed: A new plant that grows in all biomes, essential for brewing freezing resistance potions.
  • Freezing Resistance Potion: Brew this potion to temporarily protect yourself from the effects of cold water or the Freeze Aspect Enchantment.
  • Freeze Aspect Enchantment: Enchant your weapons to inflict freezing effects on your enemies.

Hypothermic is designed to enhance the survival experience in Minecraft's colder regions, encouraging players to prepare and adapt to harsh environments. Whether you're an adventure seeker or a survival enthusiast, this mod offers new challenges and mechanics to explore.
