Description

Flashlight Mod A simple, survival-friendly flashlight. Craft it, load it with batteries, and toggle it on for a directional light that follows where you look. Power isn't free — the batteries drain while it's on, so you'll be crafting more. Features

Craftable flashlight and rechargeable batteries Toggle on/off with a rebindable key (default G) or by right-clicking Light shines along your line of sight, out to a configurable range Charge drains only while the light is on — a full charge lasts about 20 minutes of continuous use by default Visual charge bar on the item (green → red as it empties) In-game config screen (via the mod list) for battery life, light level, and beam range

How to use

Craft batteries from redstone and copper. Craft the flashlight. Hold it and sneak + right-click with at least 2 batteries in your inventory to charge it (uses 2 at a time). Press G (or right-click) to toggle it on/off.

Recipes Battery (yields 2) — vertical column: redstone, copper ingot, redstone. Flashlight (empty) — iron ingots around the edges, glass pane top-center, redstone torch in the center. Configuration Adjustable in-game from the mods list, or in config/flashlightmod.properties:

Battery life — 10 / 20 / 30 / 60 minutes per full charge Light level — 1–15 (default 15) Beam range — how many blocks ahead the light reaches (default 8)

Compatibility

Minecraft 1.21.11, Forge 61+, Java 21 Works in singleplayer and on servers. For multiplayer, install on both the client and server.
