iammojogo's Zoom Mod
This mod allows you to zoom in and out to view thing further away much better than usual. It works also in third person viewpoints if needed, even though player character is visible.
Functionality for MVP included holding the left control button down in order to zoom, which allows you to utilize the mouse scroll without affecting the hotbar inv slot selections. Releasing left control will NOT reset zoom. I found keeping that is better for gameplay. i.e. Can ONLY zoom when holding down keybind and scrolling. Simple :)

Works with JEI, JourneyMap, Xaero's Minimap, Optifine, and most client-side mods.
Requirements:
Minecraft 1.21.11 Forge 61+ Client-side only (no server installation needed)

Is that a sheep?! This is the default zoom (fov at 59 currently, which is even lower than most use also!). Do you see the sheep? -
There is the sheep :) This is the max zoom currently. I believe it is far enough ;)
