Icterine (UNOFFICIAL) — Fabric 1.21.1

An unofficial Fabric 1.21.1 port of Icterine by Mephodio. It optimizes the server-side minecraft:inventory_changed advancement trigger and preserves the upstream configurable optimizations.

Features

  • Reduces unnecessary advancement checks when inventory stacks change.
  • Optimizes increased and decreased stack checks, multi-item predicates, and inventory initialization when containers open.
  • Runs on the server; players do not need the mod on their clients.
  • Each optimization can be disabled separately in config/icterine.yml.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • Fabric Loader 0.18.6 or newer
  • Fabric API
  • Java 21 or newer

Install this file on a Fabric server. In singleplayer, install it in the Fabric instance.

Compatibility note

Because Icterine changes when inventory advancement triggers are checked, custom advancement datapacks may behave differently. If an advancement stops triggering as expected, disable the related option in config/icterine.yml and test again.
