What is Improved Slimes?
Improved Slimes is a mod that, as the name suggests, aims to improve Minecraft's slimes. Currently, slimes feel very generic and are simple to defeat. What this mod does is makes slimes more difficult to fight, giving them extra advantages and weaknesses based on their slimy structure.

Currently, Improved Slimes adds a short list of features:
  • Health of slimes is increased
  • Attack damage of slimes is increased
  • Knockback against slimes is reduced
  • Slimes are more resistant to physical attacks
  • Slimes take increased damage from magic and fire damage
  • A slime has a 0.5% chance to spawn as a large 'rare slime'
  • All values used are configurable.

 

Some features are planned for future updates:

  • Slimes spawn in different colors
  • A configurable list of display names for rare slimes
