Industrial Craft 2: Nostalgia is an unofficial community port based on IC2 Experimental, with modern mod compatibility and quality-of-life improvements. Start with rubber, circuits and a generator, then build your way through ore processing, electric tools, automated mining and advanced industry.

Build your industrial world

• Generate, store and distribute EU using generators, battery storage, cables and transformers.
• Process resources with macerators, electric furnaces, ore washing plants, thermal centrifuges, compressors and metal formers.
• Expand into automated mining, nuclear power and advanced equipment.
• Enchant Mining, Diamond and Iridium Drills with Efficiency, Fortune or Silk Touch.
• Mute individual machines directly from their interfaces without interrupting production.

Made for modern modpacks

• Automatic ore compatibility: recognized ores and raw metals with furnace or blasting recipes into ingots receive missing macerator recipes. Existing matching dusts are preferred; when none exists, IC2 supplies a dust variant that cooks back into the corresponding ingot.
• Shared plate tags: matching plates from other mods can be used in IC2 recipes. IC2 plates also work in other mods' recipes that accept the same material tags.
• Alternative rubber ingredients: dried kelp can replace rubber in IC2 recipes using the shared rubber-material ingredient.

Optional integrations

Create: craft machines and components in mechanical crafters using their normal crafting layouts. Use rubber to craft Create belts, and bulk-wash IC2's seven washable crushed ores with an Encased Fan blowing through water. Washing preserves IC2's outputs and byproducts.

Curios: equip BatPacks, Advanced BatPacks, Lappacks and Energy Packs in supported back or body slots. Equipped packs power electric tools and can be recharged by IC2 charge pads.

Requirements and credits

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge and Java 21. Create and Curios are optional for the main mod; install them to enable their integrations.
