Infection System

How Infection Works

Whenever a zombie attacks you, there is a 15% chance of becoming infected.

Infection progresses through 5 stages, each becoming more dangerous over time. If the infection reaches Stage 5, the player dies and reanimates as a zombie.

⚠️ Stage 5 is irreversible.

Infection Stages

Stage Symptoms Status
Stage 1 Mild nausea, slight slowness Easily treatable
Stage 2 Increased nausea, minor damage over time Antidote effective
Stage 3 Weakness, visual distortion Dangerous
Stage 4 Heavy damage over time, severe disorientation Final chance
Stage 5 ☠️ Death & zombification No cure

Infection Treatment

Item Effect
Antidote Completely cures infection up to Stage 4
Suppressant Pauses infection progression for 2 minutes
Painkiller Temporary resistance effect

Survival Systems

❤️ Manual Healing

Natural regeneration has been completely disabled.

You must rely on crafted medical supplies to survive injuries.

🏃 Stamina System

Stamina controls your ability to:

  • Sprint
  • Fight effectively
  • Perform exhausting actions

Running out of stamina can leave you vulnerable during combat or escapes.

💧 Thirst System

Hydration is essential.

Keep water supplies stocked or risk dehydration penalties.

Purified water is safe — future updates may introduce contaminated water systems.

Items & Consumables

🩺 Medical Items

Item Effect Notes
Bandage Heals 2 hearts Cheap emergency healing
Medkit Heals 4 hearts Stronger medical item
Antidote Cures infection up to Stage 4 Ineffective at Stage 5
Suppressant Freezes infection progression Temporary solution
Painkiller Grants Resistance for 10 seconds Useful during combat

⚡ Consumables

Item Effect
Energy Drink +25 Stamina, +25 Thirst
Energy Bar +25 Stamina
Purified Water +25 Thirst

🔧 Crafting Materials

Additional medical and crafting materials exist throughout the mod and are used in survival item recipes.

More crafting content will continue expanding in future updates.

NPC System

The world contains survivors trying to stay alive.

  • 🧍 5 NPCs

Structures & World Generation

The overworld is filled with abandoned remnants of civilization.

Current structures include:

  • 🏠 Abandoned houses
  • 🛣️ Road networks
  • 🏘️ Settlements
  • 🧱 Urban ruins
  • 🚧 Environmental debris & apocalypse decorations

Structures are generated using Minecraft's jigsaw system for modular expansion and procedural layouts.

Future updates aim to massively expand:

  • City generation
  • Road systems
  • Dynamic settlements
  • World storytelling
