Infernum Remastered

Infernum Remastered is a large-scale fiery dimension expansion for Minecraft.

Enter a hostile realm shaped by ash, magma and infernal power. Explore the Infernal Wastes, discover dangerous structures, mine unique resources, encounter strange wildlife and challenge the armies and rulers of Infernum.

A Complete Infernal Dimension

Infernum introduces an entirely new dimension filled with:

- Custom terrain and surface generation
- The Infernal Wastes biome
- Ash-covered landscapes and enormous lava regions
- Cinderwood trees and Infernal vegetation
- Fire Bee nests
- Custom ores and underground resources
- Infernal structures, camps and workshops
- Dangerous creatures and powerful enemies

A Massive Creature Roster

Infernum contains a large collection of creatures with different purposes, behaviours and roles.

The dimension is populated by:

- Hostile infernal monsters
- Passive and neutral wildlife
- Tameable companions
- Rideable mounts
- Lava-dwelling aquatic creatures
- Infernal soldiers and knights
- Defensive creatures such as the Magma Golem
- Powerful minibosses and bosses

Creatures include the Ember Hound, Pyerling Wyrn, Infernal Phantom, Ash Ravager, Magma Camel, Magma Bear, Fire Bee, Infernal Hoarde, Infernal Knight, Infernal Beast, Infernal Tyrant, Infernum and many more.

Vanilla-Compatible Visual Design

Infernum is intentionally designed to feel compatible with vanilla Minecraft.

Many creatures reuse or adapt familiar vanilla entity models, animation systems and silhouettes. These foundations are combined with Infernum-themed textures, new behaviours, attacks, abilities, statistics, sounds, drops and gameplay roles.

This is a deliberate artistic choice. Rather than making every creature feel visually disconnected from Minecraft, Infernum builds upon recognisable shapes so that its large creature roster remains readable, familiar and consistent with the base game's style.

Not every creature uses completely original geometry, but each Infernum entity is designed to have its own identity, purpose and gameplay experience.

Taming, Companions and Mounts

Infernum includes several creatures that can be tamed, ridden or used as companions.

Players can:

- Tame powerful infernal animals
- Ride creatures adapted to hostile terrain
- Travel safely across lava
- Command Infernal Knights
- Use creatures for combat, protection and exploration
- Raise companions that defend their owners
- Ride the Ash Ravager as a powerful war mount

Different mounts have different movement roles, abilities and strengths.

Infernal Knights

Infernal Knights are powerful controllable warriors with multiple combat variants.

They can:

- Follow their owner
- Stay in position
- Patrol selected areas
- Attack commanded targets
- Fight using melee weapons
- Spawn as specialised archer variants
- Assist the player during difficult battles

## Resources and Equipment

Infernum introduces several custom material tiers:

- Emberstone
- Cinderstone
- Infernium
- Pyroclast
- Nether Ruby
- Firerite

These materials can be used to create:

- Tools
- Weapons
- Armour
- Spears
- Shields
- Bows
- Specialised infernal equipment

Each material represents a different stage of Infernum's progression.

Bosses and Major Enemies

Infernum contains several powerful opponents, including:

- The Infernal Beast
- The Infernal Tyrant
- Infernum

These enemies are designed to test the player's preparation, equipment and combat skills.

Defeating major enemies can reward rare items such as the following:

- Infernal Beast Horn
- Infernal Tyrant Relic
- Infernal Gems
- Echo of Damnation
- The Hell Crown

The Hell Crown

The Hell Crown is a powerful royal artefact obtained from Infernum.

While worn, it grants the player several abilities, including:

- Fire resistance
- Increased strength
- Increased resistance
- The ability to ignite attackers
- Healing after defeating hostile enemies
- Temporary absorption after combat victories

However, wearing the crown also marks the player as someone who has claimed forbidden Infernal power, which may attract the attention of Malfuryx.

Infernal Villagers and Trading

Infernum contains its own Villagers and trading systems.

Players can discover infernal settlements and trade for the following:

- Materials
- Equipment
- Resources
- Rare supplies
- Infernum-related items

Infernal Villagers do not drop loot when killed.

Transportation

Infernum introduces the Inferno Essence Boat and Inferno Essence Chest Boat.

These boats:

- Travel across water
- Travel across lava
- Protect passengers from lava while aboard
- Allow safer exploration of large lava regions
- Provide storage through the chest-boat variant

World Generation and Exploration

The infernal dimension contains the following:

- Custom biome generation
- Cinderwood forests
- Fire Bee nests
- Infernal vegetation
- Burnt sand patches
- Infernal blackstone formations
- Custom structures
- Natural creature spawning
- Eight naturally generating infernal ores

Exploration is an important part of progression, with different creatures, structures and resources appearing throughout the dimension.
