What is Infusion?

Infusion is a mod which allows you to craft a new type of workstation: the Infusion Table. This new workstation allows you to combine certain items with books to receive a new enchanted book that gives you an effect when you either wear armor or hold an item with the enchantment. You can upgrade enchantments to a level two effect by combining two of the book for the effect you want in an anvil (except for regeneration and dolphin’s grace to prevent this mod from being too overpowered, as well as fire resistance, water breathing, invisibility, and night vision because level two has no difference).

How do I craft an Infusion Table?

Place five crying obsidian in the shape you would use to craft a boat, as far down as possible. Then place an enchanting table in the middle, a brewing stand above that, and a netherite scrap on either side of the brewing stand.

How do I use the Infusion Table?

Right click the Infusion Table to access its inventory. Once you are inside its inventory, place a book in the slot farthest up and to the left, and the corresponding item to the effect you want (the items are listed below) in the slot farthest down and to the left. Then, click the Infuse button to receive your enchantment.

What items do I use for which effects?

Here’s a list. Keep in mind that not all vanilla Minecraft effects have been implemented as enchantments yet and modded effects are currently not supported.

Speed: Sugar

Haste: Gold Ingot

Strength: Blaze Powder

Jump Boost: Rabbit’s foot

Regeneration: Ghast Tear

Resistance: Obsidian

Fire Resistance: Magma Cream

Water Breathing: Pufferfish

Invisibility: Fermented Spider Eye

Night Vision: Golden Carrot

Health Boost: Crimson Fungus

Absorption: Golden Apple

Saturation: Honey Bottle

Hero of the Village: Totem of Undying

Luck: Diamond

Slow Falling: Phantom Membrane

Dolphin’s Grace: Dolphin Fin (new item, dropped rarely from killing dolphins)
