Description
Inheritance changes how mob breeding works in Minecraft, adding a genetic-style system where effects can be passed down to offspring.
When two mobs breed, their child has a chance to inherit active effects from their parents:
- If one parent has an effect → 10% chance for the child to inherit it
- If both parents share the same effect → 20% chance
- If both parents have different effects → each effect rolls independently at 10% chance per effect
This creates a dynamic system where effects can slowly spread through animal populations over time, making breeding more meaningful and unpredictable.
