About

Description

This is a Forge port of the Fabric mod Inmis.

Need more inventory storage… or space. I don't fully remember what the s stands for.

Inmis is a backpack mod! It provides a progression ladder of 6 backpack types, plus 2 extras.

Progression Tiers

  • Frayed
  • Plated
  • Gilded
  • Bejeweled
  • Withered
  • Endless

Extras

  • Ender Pouch
  • Baby Backpack

Key Features

Open Backpacks

  • Open backpacks via right-click or the default B key.

Equip Options

  • Equip backpacks in the chestplate slot or Curios back slot; optional trinket-only mode.

Configurable Tiers (config/inmis.json)

  • Tweak slot counts, add custom backpacks, require armor slots, and more.

Built-in Migration from MrCrayfish’s Backpacked

  • Toggle importBackpackedItems to True.
  • Auto-login migrator (autoBackpacked* config) converts backpacks automatically upon world load/server login.
  • Use /inmis convert_backpacked command for manual/targeted conversions.
  • Backpacked recipes are auto-disabled while the importer runs, preventing new legacy stacks.
  • This requires both mods to be present, once converted you can disable Backpacked and toggle importBackpackedItems to False

Backpack Upgrades

  • Backpack Upgrades: backpacks now support upgradeable augments with a dedicated UI to control them.
  • New upgrade UI: toggle upgrades on/off per backpack, view descriptions, and change settings directly in-game.
  • Configurable upgrade settings: adjust modes and filters for upgrades like Funnelling, Seedflow, and Hopper Bridge.
  • Available upgrades: Funnelling, Quiverlink, Farmhand, Lightweaver, Lootbound, Imbued Hide, Immortal, Reforge, Seedflow, Hopper Bridge. Upgrade filters: add/remove item filters for relevant augments using the backpack’s contents or held item.
