About
Description
A tiny client-side icon warns when phantoms can spawn — triggered after 3 days without using a bed. No sounds, no HUD clutter, no server changes.

Subtle warning appears in the status effect area.
How It Works
- Tracks Time Since Last Rest.
- Resets on bed use or death.
- Fully client-side — works on any server.
- Only shown in the Overworld.
Pro Tip
No need to sleep.
Lie down on a bed for a split moment — that's enough to avoid phantoms for 3 more days.
Known Notes
- Does not sync with
doInsomniagamerule. - No skylight or height checks.
Future Ideas
- Actual phantom spawning also requires overhead skylight and Y > 64.
Add a separate icon for general insomnia; keep the current red-eye icon for when all spawn conditions are met.
