Description

! Parts of the content are incompatible with resource packs that also change the Ancient City NBTs !

~ Please do not ask for ports ~

This mod adds the following:

Sculk Den / Sculk Bug: A block that spawns Sculk Bugs when nearby Sculk Sensors are activated. It generates in Deep Dark biomes. The Sculk Bug does not create sounds and is ignored by Wardens. Upon death, it creates Sculk.

Sculk Amplifier: A block that amplifies a Sculk Catalyst when it is placed below it and on top of Sculk. The Catalyst will then activate when nearby Sculk Sensors detect a sound, not just when nearby mobs are defeated. It generates naturally in Deep Dark biomes.

Panic Pulse: An effect that you briefly receive upon opening chests in Ancient Cities, which prevents you from using your Elytra or mounting entities. It also emits a sound every five seconds and slightly distorts the screen.

Change in wool behavior: Moving on Sculk Veins placed on wool will now make sounds.

Slight changes to the Ancient City: You may now rarely find tripwires or pressure plates here and there.

More content may be added later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Sculk Bug model is inspired by the Kuvo Beetle concept by u/Nondescript_Potato.

This is a hobby, and I have little time to spare, so please do not ask for ports to other mod loaders or game versions. If I want to and have the time to do so, I will. You may, however, modify this for private use (e.g., a server with friends is completely fine); just do not upload it publicly on the internet.
