The Arcane Synergy

Hearken, Avatars and Realm Builders! In the Stones Mod, thy very power is tethered to thy Vanilla XP Level. But consider the fragile nature of an Avatar's life: a careless misstep in the dark, the sudden hiss of a Creeper, or a fatal arcane miscast. Death comes swiftly, and with it, the devastating loss of thy Experience. In Stones, thy XP level directly dictates which runic sockets in thy monolith are active. When thy XP vanishes, thy sockets go dark, and thy entire runic build is instantly shut down! To weave the grand sorcery of Iron's Spells & Spellbooks into this precarious balance requires absolute synergy. Magic here is a deeply rewarding journey, but one of physical tribute and immense peril, where a single mistake can strip away thy hard-earned might.

Trials of the Avatar (Core Features)

  • The Reagent Economy: Because thy XP is thy lifeblood, spells demand a physical toll instead! Incantations now consume components from thy inventory (e.g., Ender Pearls or Gunpowder). To support this hardcore economy, the Wandering Trader will now buy thy excess mundane resources to supply the critical reagents required to fuel thy sorcery.

  • Arcane Backlash & Ruin: To channel forces beyond thy current understanding is a dangerous gamble. Every point of missing knowledge reduces thy success rate. A fatal miscast inflicts severe physical punishments or unleashes a wild magic surge. Remember: If an untamed spell brings about thy death, thy XP vanishes, instantly deactivating thy runic sockets and shattering thy Stones build!

  • Dynamic Knowledge System: The bridge dynamically registers Forge attributes for every school of magic. Thy required knowledge to safely cast spells scales on a rigorous, quadratic curve: Required Knowledge = 2.04 * (Effective Circle - 1)^2.

  • Seamless Action UI: Thy unlocked spells are natively injected directly into the cache of the Stones Action System. Internal game ticks are translated to precise seconds on thy action bar, ensuring a clean, minimalist combat experience devoid of hotkey bloat.

  • The Inscription Overhaul: The Inscription Table has been reforged. A complete Mixin overhaul elegantly renders circles, knowledge requirements, mana, and cast times in a legible, classic book-brown (0x322C2A).

Tools for the Realm Builders (Technical Details)

  • Absolute Configuration: Realm Builders are granted ultimate authority over the arcane laws. Inside the config/stones_irons_bridge/ directory, you can completely reprogram the circle, reagent items, and required counts for every single spell in the game.

  • Milestone Buffs: Reward your most dedicated spellcasters with three new powerful status effects: Arcane Overdrive, Clearcast, and Quickcast—perfect for custom Stones configuration milestones.

  • Conflict Resolution: Selecting the Stones layout automatically unbinds conflicting default Iron's Spells keys to guarantee a flawless, smooth setup for thy players.

Modpacks: Realm Builders are free to include this crucible in any CurseForge modpacks.

🌟 Check out the Core Experience: Stones!

If you stumbled upon this bridge first, you will need the main framework: Stones!

It completely overhauls the Vanilla XP system by introducing a physical, item-based skill tree where thy Vanilla XP level unlocks the very sockets holding thy runes. Bind thy soul to ancient monoliths in the world and socket custom runes to gain unique abilities.
