Following a failed experiment—one that had originally aimed to wipe their memories—the villagers accidentally discovered a "fragment" that emitted a strange energy. They refined this discovery to invent a battery, which they then used to power a special device—a machine capable of duplicating anything—that they had previously been unable to operate due to a lack of energy. Now for the general usage details: The "Duplicator Ingot" can be traded for from a Novice-level Librarian villager in exchange for 5 Deepslate Diamond Ore and 10 Raw Gold Block. The "Item Duplicator" itself can be crafted using 7 Stone blocks, a Hopper, and an Emerald. To use it, right-click the Item Duplicator, place the Duplicator Fragment in the top-left slot and the item you wish to duplicate in the bottom-left slot, then press the "Duplicate" button—and you're done. The fragment recharges after remaining in a player's inventory for a total of 20 minutes; however, be careful, as it will break if you perform 5 duplications during that time.

Note: You cannot duplicate the particle; the device cannot replicate something that powerful.
