Description
Jayden's Parkour Mod
Minecraft gives you one jump. This gives you what happens when that jump wasn't enough.
Summary of the mod
This mod adds a set of parkour mechanics to Minecraft, allowing players to perform actions such as hanging from ledges, pulling themselves up, wall running, sliding, dashing, and performing controlled landings. Each move is triggered by simple inputs and works smoothly with the game's movement system. When installed on both client and server, it also enables features like fall‑damage adjustments, slide hitboxes, move toggles, and synchronized animations so players can see each other's parkour actions.
Fast and challenging gameplay
The poses are hand-authored, then a physics layer on top makes them react to how your body is actually moving. Throw yourself forward and your arms trail behind. Slam into a ledge and they overshoot before settling.
The camera is doing as much work as the arms. It leans into a wall run, rocks when you land, and widens as you pick up speed. In first person the camera is the body.
Momentum
Chain moves together and you bank speed, in four fixed steps up to 1.45×. Your field of view opens as you climb the tiers; there is no meter, because you can feel it.
The tiers are deliberately fixed and capped. A speed that crept upward forever would make every gap a maybe, and nobody could build a course around it.
Surfaces matter
Ice holds you for about a second, then you start sliding down it — still attached, still able to jump off. What ice costs you is height, not your grip. Keep moving and you keep hold.
Slime never lets go, and throws you 1.65× further when you push off it.
Ladders, vines, chains and scaffolding are handholds: grab them anywhere on their face, even mid-fall against a sheer wall, no exposed edge needed.
Magma, cactus, fire and the like can't be grabbed or run on at all. A closed route stays visible instead of being disguised as an open one.
- Hanging and climbing are separate. Put a fence or a slab on top of a wall and players can hang from it, travel along it, and jump from it — but not get up onto it. A real ledge that isn't an exit.
- Make blocks inert.
/parkour ignore add <block>takes a block out of the mod entirely: no wall running, no ledge grabs. Black concrete is inert by default. The list is saved. - Switch whole moves off. A server config lets a world builder disable ledge grabs, wall running, dashing, sliding, slide-catching, timed landings or momentum individually — travels with the map, synced to every player automatically.
- Tune the dash.
/parkour dash <blocks>sets how far a dash carries, world-wide, from the world you're hosting. - See what the mod sees.
/parkour debugoverlays the current move, momentum tier, speed, and the nearest ledge or wall it has detected — useful for working out why a jump does or doesn't reach. - Distances are knowable. Every momentum tier and surface multiplier is a fixed, published number, so a jump either can be made from a given tier or it can't.
Nothing new to learn. Where you look decides what the key does.

Requirements
- NeoForge 1.21.1
- GeckoLib
Works on any server. Install it server-side as well for fall damage reduction, slide hitboxes, move toggles, dash tuning, and to let players see each other's moves.
