About

Description

This mod requires GeckoLib.

This Mod has been discontinued, and will no longer receive further updates.

Welcome to JC's EndExtras, a mod that expands the End dimension in a way you've hopefully never seen before. Complete with new biomes to explore, items to collect, structures to loot, blocks to build with, and mobs to fight. This mod takes some inspiration from the Minecraft Dungeons: Echoing Void DLC, but is otherwise completely unique, with new custom mobs, blocks, and even bosses.

Dimensions

Journey through 3 different dimensions, each filled with special items, blocks, and mobs. From the dark crevices of the Endermite Grotto, to the alien foliage of the Chorus Expanse, to the sludgy mire of the Muck Caverns, there's adventure in every corner.

Structures

There are structures scattered across the world that are filled with challenges and loot, such as the Endersent Arena, found underground within the Overworld and harboring an Endersent boss fight; or the End Spire, a towering structure featuring parkour and a loot chest at the top; or the End Hut, a seemingly inconspicuous structure holding the key to the other dimensions.

Mobs

There are many mobs you can encounter on your journey, such as the mysterious Shadow Ocelot, a denizen of the jungles of the Overworld, and the key towards unlocking a special set of armor. Then there's the Endersent, a tough miniboss found within underground dungeons, which drops a special item required to craft the Eyes of Ender. Other creatures, such as the Slatehopper (a rabbit species that dwells among the surface of the Deep End), the Shroomling tribe (a race of advanced fungi with a penchant for Ender Rubies), and the Obsidian Contraptions (strange constructs from an unknown era), will be present along your journey, some friendly, and some not-so-much.

Items

The mod also includes many custom items you can collect, like the Voidirite toolset, a material stronger than diamond found within the recesses of the End; the Ender Ruby, a special gem favored by the Shroomling tribe and used to trade with them; the Obsidian Claymore, a powerful blade with stunning power; and the Shulker armor set, stronger than netherite and harboring a resistance to the Levitation effect.

Extras

Not only is there content for the End, there's also many new features for the Overworld that don't necessarily pertain to the End, but are still there because I thought they'd be cool. These include the Mountaineers, new Illager types that are trained to work in cold climates, the Shadow Ocelot, a new tameable mob, and more.

Keep in mind that there may be a few bugs, so don't hesitate to point them out in the comments section. This mod is still being updated, so some features may not be finished. However, I have tried my best to finish as much as possible.

Feel free to use this mod in your modpacks, as long as you credit me.
