About

Description

Simple library bringing some extensions to the Minecraft model format This project is not affiliated with the original JMX, and supports running alongside Sodium and Iris with Indium compatibility layer. This is a Fabric mod, Fabric API is required.

This library can be used both by mod developers and resource pack makers to create more complex models not possible with vanilla Minecraft. It allows for specifying render layers, emissiveness and shading options of individual model elements, all from within normal JSON model files!

Interested? See our documentation and use JMXL in your mods and resource packs!
