Description
Jukebox 360° is a small client-side audio fix mod for Fabric, Forge & NeoForge.
Focused on compatibility, simplicity, and solving one issue.

📖 About 📖
It prevents the annoying “turn away = almost silent” behavior by keeping jukebox and note blocks audible even when you’re not looking at the sound source, while still preserving natural distance falloff and retaining a bit of directionality.

While I am aware of similar mods that try to solve the same issue (Great example - Audio Improvements by NamelessJu), but they all have their limitations that this mod acknowledges and fixes.
✨Main differences from similar mods:
- The audio can still retain directionality (configurable amount)
- The audio retains distance falloff
- Works with most modded Music Discs
- Works with Etched mod (Custom Music Discs & Playlist Jukebox Block)
- Compatible with Sound Physics Remastered (and similar sound+occlusion mods, since it doesn’t disable their systems—just prevents the extreme angle-muting edge case.)
⚙️ The mod comes with a config file:
- anchor_blend [Range: 0.0 ~ 1.0, Default: 0.85]
1.0 = “360° / mono-like” (least turn-away volume loss)
0.0 = vanilla-like stereo directionality (stronger turn-away effect)
Feel free to use this in any modpack.
