Junky Trader

Junky Trader introduces a brand‑new villager with fully custom trades and a set of unique XP‑powered mechanics. His offers include the Ancient Core — a magical component used to craft a flying ring that consumes experience as fuel — as well as two special pickaxes: one mines in a 3×3×1 area as long as you have enough XP to power it, while the other generates experience at the cost of triggering random events during mining, such as lightning strikes on the player. Both pickaxes also possess a magical ability to illuminate the world with conjured light in exchange for XP, and they are protected from breaking — though if you push them past their limits, they will become unusable until repaired. The mod also adds the Junk Bag, a gamble‑style loot pouch where your luck decides whether you pull out simple coal or a rare Nether Star. Alongside the trader, you’ll also meet the Experience Broker, a merchant who sells basic ores and resources in exchange for XP, offering an alternative progression path beyond traditional mining.
