Inspired by Kamen Rider Kuuga, this mod brings the legendary Rider to Minecraft with a survival-focused progression system, animated transformations, unique combat abilities, special weapons, and an evolving energy system.

Instead of receiving every transformation from the beginning, you must earn your powers through exploration, combat, and increasingly difficult challenges.

Every form has its own strengths, weaknesses, and purpose.

1. About the Mod

Kamen Rider Kuuga — Survival Evolution is a Minecraft Java mod that transforms the experience of becoming Kuuga into a complete survival adventure.

Your journey begins as an ordinary player. By discovering the mysterious Arcle and awakening its hidden power, you gain access to the first Kuuga transformation.

As you defeat enemies, overcome challenges, and explore the world, the Amadam grows stronger, allowing you to unlock increasingly powerful forms.

2. How to Obtain the Arcle

The beginning of your journey

The Arcle is an ancient transformation belt containing the mysterious Amadam.

To obtain it, explore the underground world and search for treasure chests inside Abandoned Mineshafts.

The Arcle has a 30% chance to be added to a Mineshaft chest's loot.

Once you find it:

1. Hold the Arcle in your hand.

2. Right-click to absorb its power.

3. The Amadam will become part of your character.

4. Your journey toward becoming Kuuga begins.

The First Awakening

Obtaining the Arcle does not immediately grant access to all transformations.

After absorbing it, your first fatal encounter will awaken Growing Form, saving you from death and revealing your new powers.

From that moment, you can begin developing the Amadam and unlocking new transformations.

3. Survival Progression & Amadam Energy

The Amadam is the source of Kuuga's power.

Unlike ordinary armor, Kuuga's transformations require energy to maintain. More powerful forms generally consume energy faster, making form selection an important part of combat.

Amadam Energy

- Begin with a maximum energy capacity of 20%.

- Increase your capacity by gaining Amadam experience and unlocking new forms.

- Earn experience through combat, transformation time, and selected heroic achievements.

- Recover energy while untransformed or using Growing Form.

- If your energy runs out, Kuuga is forced back into Growing Form.

- After exhaustion, your energy must recover before you can resume normal transformations.

The circular Amadam HUD displays your remaining energy, maximum capacity, and current transformation.

Rising Titan| Unlock Rising Mighty and reach 250 hostile kills

Amazing Mighty| Reach 400 hostile kills, defeat the Wither, and unlock all four Rising forms

Ultimate| Reach 600 hostile kills, defeat the Ender Dragon, and unlock Amazing Mighty

Note: Ultimate Dark Eyes exists as a special variant but is not a standard survival progression reward.

Progression is designed to encourage players to explore Minecraft's world and face increasingly difficult enemies rather than simply crafting more powerful armor.

4. Kuuga Forms, Characteristics & Abilities

Every transformation offers a different combat style.

Growing Form — The Beginning

The first and weakest Kuuga transformation.

Growing Form represents the early stages of the Amadam's development.

Characteristics:

- Basic protection and enhanced survivability.

- Limited offensive capabilities.

- Allows energy recovery.

- Can heal the player using its special ability.

- Serves as an emergency form when the Amadam becomes exhausted.

Mighty Form — Balanced Combat

The classic red Kuuga form, specializing in close-range combat.

Characteristics:

- Balanced attack and defense.

- Enhanced physical strength.

- Efficient energy consumption compared to advanced forms.

- Special close-range attack that damages and knocks back nearby enemies.

Mighty Form is a reliable choice for everyday survival combat.

Dragon Form — Speed & Mobility

The blue form focuses on speed, movement, and agility.

Characteristics:

- Enhanced movement speed.

- Water Breathing while transformed.

- Can summon the Dragon Rod.

- Access to Dragon Acceleration.

Special Ability — Dragon Acceleration

Activate with Sneak + X.

Dragon Acceleration temporarily slows the surrounding world while allowing Kuuga to continue moving and fighting at a much faster relative pace.

- Maximum duration of 30 seconds.

- Consumes Amadam energy during use.

- Produces blue afterimage effects.

- Can be canceled manually.

Rising Dragon also has access to this ability.

Pegasus Form — Precision & Perception

The green form specializes in ranged combat and heightened awareness.

Characteristics:

- Can summon the Pegasus Bowgun.

- Enhanced perception of hostile enemies.

- Designed for precise long-range attacks.

- Higher energy consumption than the basic combat forms.

Pegasus Bowgun

Hold right-click to aim and charge your shot, then release to fire.

- Fires glowing green energy projectiles.

- Does not require arrows.

- Charged shots deal more damage.

- Consumes Amadam energy.

Special Ability — Enhanced Perception

Use Sneak + X to reveal nearby hostile mobs.

- Pegasus: 15-block detection range.

- Rising Pegasus: 30-block detection range.

Titan Form — Strength & Defense

The purple form specializes in endurance, protection, and heavy attacks.

Characteristics:

- Increased physical strength and resistance.

- Can summon the Titan Sword.

- Excellent for fighting powerful enemies.

- Slower and more energy-intensive than lighter forms.

Special Ability — Titan Breaker

Activate with Sneak + X.

Titan Breaker temporarily enhances Kuuga's attack power and defense.

- Maximum duration of 30 seconds.

- Additional energy consumption while active.

- Powerful activation effects, including dust, debris, and purple energy.

Seismic Strike

While Titan Breaker is active, right-click with the Titan Sword to unleash a powerful ground-based shockwave against enemies ahead of you.

Rising Titan gains stronger attacks and additional golden visual effects.

Rising Forms — Golden Power

The Rising transformations are enhanced versions of Kuuga's four main combat forms.

Each one provides improved combat performance while consuming more Amadam energy.

Rising Mighty

Rising Dragon

Rising Pegasus

Press B while using a compatible base form to activate its unlocked Rising counterpart. Press B again to return to the base form.

Amazing Mighty — Extraordinary Power

A powerful evolution of Mighty Form.

Characteristics:

- Significantly enhanced strength and durability.

- Powerful close-range attacks.

- High Amadam energy consumption.

- Requires substantial survival progression to unlock.

Amazing Mighty is intended for dangerous encounters and powerful enemies.

Ultimate Form — Supreme Power

The ultimate evolution of Kuuga.

Characteristics:

- Exceptional attack power and durability.

- Powerful area attacks.

- Extremely high Amadam energy consumption.

- A separate control system that limits prolonged use.

Ultimate Control

Ultimate Form has a control meter that gradually decreases while the form is active.

If control reaches zero, the Amadam overloads and forces the player back into Growing Form.

Ultimate is Kuuga's most powerful transformation, but it also requires the greatest responsibility.

Becoming Kuuga is not only about defeating enemies.

The mod includes custom advancements inspired by the journey of a hero, rewarding progression, exploration, protection, and acts of kindness.

Transformation Progression

Unlock achievements for discovering the Arcle, awakening Growing Form, obtaining new transformations, and reaching Kuuga's most powerful forms.

Combat Challenges

Face increasingly dangerous enemies, including powerful hostile mobs and Minecraft bosses.

Exploration

Explore dangerous structures and travel between dimensions while continuing your journey as Kuuga.

Heroic Actions

Some advancements encourage players to protect others and interact with the world in positive ways.

Examples include:

- Protecting villages.

- Helping animals.

- Repairing Iron Golems.

- Exploring dangerous locations.

- Defeating powerful threats.

Not every achievement is required to unlock a transformation. Some exist as additional challenges for players who want to complete Kuuga's heroic journey.

Quick Form Switch — v0.4.7

The Quick Form Switch system allows you to alternate between two transformations without repeatedly opening the form selection wheel.

Example: Dragon ↔ Mighty

While using Dragon, press G and select Pegasus.

Confirm the selection with G. Your character will remain in Dragon Form.

Press V to transform into Pegasus.

Your new quick-switch combination becomes:

Dragon ↔ Pegasus

Press V again to return to Dragon, and once more to return to Pegasus.

The previous form is automatically remembered whenever you change to a different form.

You can select another form at any time to create a new quick-switch combination.

Selecting a form never transforms the player automatically. The transformation occurs only when V is pressed.
