Kd's Food Mod

This is, as you saw in the summary, an EXTREMELY alpha mod, but I decided to put it up on Curse due to the way it came about...

**STORY TIME WITH KD**

It's about 9PM (or 21:00), August 30th, 2016. I'm watching Fate78 (http://beam.pro/fate78 and http://twitch.tv/fate78 ) stream, and he starts going off on a tangent  about food mods.

An idea sparks in my head - what if I made a food mod that smashed all the best parts of the best food mods out there together? For example Loads of foods, but also easy to understand crafting! So, on a quest I went for - lets see, about 15 hours of straight modding montage, and succeeded in making a simple food mod.

And, this is what I have to show for it, for right now. There are several foods, all with varying hunger boosts. There is also THE BEST MEAL - a "Grilled Salted Buttered GOLDEN Corn on the Cob" which not only fills your hunger, but gives a MASSIVE regeneration buff when eaten. Remember the old Notch Apple recipe? Place a 'Grilled Salted and Buttered Corn on the Cob' in place of the apple for that one, have fun.

You can also grow corn, with the plant having its own (WIP) 3D model! Also, I'd suggest JEI for this mod, as there is no actual ore generation (yet, though everything is still craftable!), and I actually don't have time right now to make images of all the recipes. They all make sense (ish) though, so don't worry.

So, in conclusion - this mod is MASSIVELY WIP. If you find any errors, mistakes, or most of all, crashes, PLEASE let me know in the issue tracker on Curse. Also, everything in the mod is subject to change as I add and tweak foods.

PLANNED FEATURES:

    1. MORE CROPS/FOODS. Obviously.

        -Rice, for sure, as well as an option to make completely food-allergen-free foods (as I have loads of food allergies, and I like that option in my games, for some.. reason...)

        - Spahgetti!

        - Pizza

        - More fish. (Because Minecraft fishing is boring. I mean really, FOUR types of fish? Come on. And the "special loot" doesn't make it any better, just more tedious.)

        - Coffee (Because why not? It's the other black gold.)

COMPATIBILITY:

  This mod's recipes should be 100% compatible with any mod that adds food, and the ore dictionary should be correct as well. (If it's not - yell at me in the bug tracker) Also, JEI is highly recommended, as some of the recipes are a little out there (example, a bucket of water equals a salt pile.. for whatever reason...) As this is a Forge mod, it should be compatible with all other FORGE mods. If you are using LiteLoader or some other modloader (which I don't think exists, I'm pretty sure its just Forge and LL) and your game crashes, I'm not going to fix it. Forge is meant to work with just Forge. However, if you find Forge mod crashes, PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT IT! If you have Optifine installed, please specify in your crash report that you have Optifine, as it messes with rendering, and I am including custom models.

  You can find some images in the "Images" tab on Curse/CurseForge - things are subject to change (like all plant models) so if something doesn't look the same, don't be suprised.

I NEED YOUR HELP!

    -Yes, your spriting skills are needed for this mod! (Because I'm terrible at making textures) There will be a GitHub repository added below here soon-ish. Give me any food item you can sprite as similarly to the default art-style of Minecraft as possible, by doing a pull-request (look it up if you don't know what that is and you want to try), and it could be added to the mod! (You'll be credited, if it is, of course.)

    -RULES:

        1. Keep it PG. Like, seriously. It's not funny, and you know it.

        2. Keep it to real-life foods, please! 3. Give me a minimum of one week to look at, (and maybe add) your submission before asking about it. You'll know if it's been added just by keeping the mod up-to-date!
