Right-click a creeper to defuse it in a 3-wire bomb minigame: cut the right wire and it can never explode again, cut the wrong one or run out of time and it blows up 5× bigger.

Keep Talking and No Creeper Explodes

Creepers have been blowing up your builds for years. Now you get to fight back — with wire cutters.

Walk up to a creeper, right-click it with an empty hand, and a bomb panel pops open. Three wires. A 15-second timer. Only one wire is safe.

How it works

  • Get within 1 block of a creeper and right-click with an empty hand
  • The bomb panel opens with three wires (red, blue and yellow) and a 15-second countdown
  • You and the creeper are both **frozen in place** while you decide, and the bomb beeps faster and faster as time runs out
  • Cut the right wire: the creeper is defused forever. It can never hiss, explode or be relit, not even with flint and steel or a lightning strike. It still follows you around... with a single tear under its eye.
  • Cut the wrong wire, or let the timer hit zero: it explodes on the spot, 5× bigger than a normal creeper. Charged creepers? Good luck.
  • Lose your nerve? Press Esc while there's still time on the clock and back away slowly.

Multiplayer

  • Only one player at a time can defuse a creeper.
  • Everyone nearby hears the bomb beeping.
  • If the defuser dies or disconnects, the creeper is released.
  • The safe wire is chosen by the server, so no peeking.

Install on both the client and the server.

Inspired by Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. No creepers were harmed in the making of this mod. Several were made very sad.
