Kilnwork

A small library mod for NeoForge, used by Vladeezyy's ports of KnightMiner's mods (Ceramics, Inspirations (Unofficial Port)).

Players don't need to install it: the mods that use it ship it inside their jar. This page is here so the library has a home, its source and its license.

Kilnwork is built from the parts of Mantle by SlimeKnights that those mods need, rewritten for newer Minecraft, because Mantle has no release for them.

What is inside

  • Retextured blocks: a block takes the texture of another block (shelves of any slab, bushes of any leaves), with the texture component, block and item models, a shaped crafting recipe that passes the texture on, and JEI support.
  • Inventory blocks and menus, item positions for block entity renderers.
  • Fluid gauges, fluid shapes and rendering for block entities, data driven fluid transfers (bowls, bottles).
  • Registration helpers (blocks with items, one per enum value, building block sets).
  • Reading 1.20 item stacks in block entities, so old worlds keep their items.
