KingKanman's Blood N' Guts

This mod, (loosely) inspired by The Walking Dead, allows you to cover yourself in fleshy armor to mask your scent and make zombies ignore you.

The new Putrid armor set, crafted with Rotten Flesh and String (recipes shown in the Media section) gives the player the new Odorous effect when worn as a full set. While under the Odorous effect, zombies will entirely ignore the player unless they sprint, swim, place or break blocks, use items, take damage, or attack anything. If the player does any of these things, they will gain the Revealed status effect, allowing zombies to see and pursue them once more for a limited amount of time.

Other ways to gain the Odorous effect include eating rotten flesh (it now inflicts Nausea and Odorous for a short time), and brewing a Potion of Odor using Rotten Flesh on an Awkward Potion in the brewing stand, which lasts for three minutes.

This mod is intended mostly for use in zombie apocalypse-themed modpacks where most other mobs are removed and zombies are prevalent. In Vanilla, it still functions well, but is a little underpowered considering the effect doesn't mask you from any other hostile mobs (skeletons, creepers, etc). This mod should still mostly function well even with other mods that enhance the Zombie's AI (though please leave a comment if you find a bug!).

DISCLAIMER: This mod uses the built-in Minecraft scoreboard (teams) system, so if you have any other mods/datapacks that use the scoreboard/teams function, this might break them :(.
