Koopa's Critters

1.20.1 Port is in the works!!!

Koopa's Critters adds around 30+ rather obscure animals to Minecraft based on species. Most of these obscure species and are endangered or threatened in the wild, some even are possibly extinct or on the verge of extinction! My hopes with this project is to spread public awareness of some of these species in order to help them get more recognized for more push for conservation!   The mod also includes a new tree type, and a few naturally spawning structures. Animals can naturally spawn in the wild!

Koopa's Critters adds around 45+ lesser known and/or endangered species to your minecraft world! Currently Koopa's Critters is being worked on 1.20.1 Forge & 1.21.1 Neoforge (Though on Curseforge there is old 1.12.2 & 1.16.5 versions from 2020-2022.) The mod is survival friendly with animals spawning and some having features and items. Unique behavior can also be seen between some species such as predation. Along with animals, Koopa's Critters also adds a few natural features such as Kopje Trees & Kopje Granite in Savvanahs. Some Decorations include several new paintings!

The mod can be configured to enable and disable specific animals and more. (Note you can use a mod like Forge Config Screens to edit the config settings ingame!)

I hope our mod can help spread awareness on lesser known species especially highly endangered species!
