About
Description
Adds various craftable "beacons" which can apply custom effects onto players within their radius (50 blocks by default).
The "beacons" have health and can be disabled by weakness, they can also pick up items (for example you could give them armor or totems as protection). Whatever the tooltips might say, they do NOT directly deal any damage.
List of currently implemented beacons:
- Visionary Beacon
Grants nearby players night vision
- Adventure Beacon
Sets nearby players' gamemode to Adventure Mode (sets them back to Survival Mode after being out of its radius for a while)
- Darkness Beacon
Afflicts nearby players with darkness and blindness
Recipes are shown in the in-game recipe book under the "misc" tab.
Yes, the tooltips are a silly reference to Path of Exile.
I highly reccommend using a mod like Paxi to autoload datapacks from the \datapacks\ folder, otherwise you would have to manually add the datapack to the "datapacks" folder rooted in your world files.
