A silly meme mod for Minecraft (Fabric).

When a cat named "laowu" (老吴) gets close to any other cat, both cats tilt their heads toward each other and spin head-to-head, grow in size, arch their backs in a hissing pose, and randomly play one of two audio clips. Right-click either cat to interrupt them, and the two cats calmly walk away.

In multiplayer, everything is server-authoritative — every player sees exactly the same effect. Install on both the client and the server (required on both sides). In singleplayer, just drop it in your mods folder. In multiplayer, every connected player must install it as well, otherwise the effect will not display correctly. Requirements

Imported audio (hot-swap at runtime)

Open this mod's config screen (after the gag triggers, press Escape, or enter via Mod Menu), then click "Open audio folder" to open config/laowu_meme/sounds/. Drop .ogg files into that folder, then reopen the config screen to see and enable them — when the gag triggers they'll be played at random alongside the built-in tracks. No game restart and no F3+T reload required.

Imported audio must be .ogg (Ogg Vorbis) format — Minecraft only supports ogg; mp3 / wav / other formats won't play. If you have an mp3, convert it to ogg with an online tool first, e.g. FreeConvert or similar sites , then drop the downloaded .ogg into the folder above. In the config screen, each track can be individually enabled / disabled; the state is saved to config/laowu_meme/enabled.properties and persists after relaunching the game.
