Laws & Justice introduces a complete medieval prison and judicial system to Minecraft, designed for survival, roleplay and multiplayer servers.

Build your own prisons, hold trials, issue arrest warrants, sentence criminals and allow prisoners to reduce their sentences through community service.

From royal courtrooms to prison workshops, every decision has consequences!

🏰 Build Your Own Prisons

Create fully functional prisons anywhere in your Minecraft world.

• Build prisons and register their boundaries.

• Create individual cells with configurable capacities.

• Use custom medieval prison doors, iron bars and control blocks.

• Assign prisoners to specific cells.

• Automatically release players when their sentences expire.

• Keep persistent prison records.

Prisons are built by players and are not automatically generated.

⚖️ Court & Justice System

Bring criminals before the court!

• Create criminal cases and accusations.

• Collect evidence and witness statements.

• Hold official hearings.

• Declare defendants innocent or guilty.

• Issue prison sentences or financial fines.

• Maintain public judicial records.

When Realm Council is installed, the elected and sworn President acts as the judicial authority.

Without Realm Council, server administrators can handle emergency judicial decisions.

🔗 Arrest Warrants & Handcuffs

Enforce the law with physical arrest warrants and handcuffs.

• Issue official arrest warrants.

• Arrest wanted players with valid warrants.

• Escort arrested players.

• Configure warrant expiration.

• Revoke active warrants.

• Prevent forged or reused warrants.

Arrests are temporary and do not automatically result in a prison sentence.

⛏️ Community Service

Prisoners can work to reduce their sentences!

Laws & Justice introduces six community service activities:

Prisoners can accept tasks, complete their objectives and deliver the results to earn sentence reductions.

Administrators can customize task requirements and rewards.

By default, community service can reduce up to 50% of the original sentence.

💰 Fines & Bail

Not every crime needs to end in prison!

• Issue financial penalties through the court.

• Allow defendants to pay fines voluntarily.

• Authorize bail for imprisoned players.

• Allow friends to pay someone else's bail.

• Release prisoners when valid bail is paid.

Payments support the Chronicles RP virtual wallet when available, or Minecraft emeralds without it.

Optional Crown Ledger integration transfers confirmed payments to the kingdom treasury.

📖 Public Judicial Records

Keep track of your kingdom's justice system.

• Browse final court decisions.

• View public criminal records.

• Consult prison sentence histories.

• Track completed sentences and releases.

A dedicated Judicial Register block provides access to public records without exposing private testimony.

Important: Prison sentences only progress while the prisoner is online. Disconnecting does not clear a sentence.

Install the mod on the server and on all participating clients.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Craft the Prison Surveyor and prison control blocks.

2. Build a prison and register its boundaries.

3. Create cells and define safe arrival and release points.

4. Place a Justice Desk to access the court system.

5. Configure community service work areas if desired.

6. Start building your kingdom's justice system!

Administrators can use /justice blocks to obtain the mod's main blocks and tools for setup.
