Lethy's Quarry

Lethy's Quarry is a fully automated, configurable block-mining machine designed for Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric). Designed with vanilla-friendly balancing and aesthetic mechanical integrations, it tackles the grueling work of large-scale resource gathering for you.

I created this mod because I couldn't really find any others that worked and had basic features. I hope you enjoy it!

This project is still in Very Early Stages of Alpha. It may break without notice. Please report any issues you find!

Using EMI along with this mod is recommended to view recipies!

⚙️ Features

Lethy's Quarry requires two things to operate: Fuel (standard furnace fuels like Coal) and a Drill Bit. Once powered, the Quarry will automatically lock onto the chunk and mine downward block by block, storing the drops in its internal inventory.

🔋 Smart Fuel & Power Management

• Power Switch: Toggle the machine directly from the GUI without needing Redstone. Hover tooltips tell you exactly when it's on or off!
• Eco-Friendly Consumption: The Quarry is smart. It will completely pause fuel consumption if its inventory is full, if it hits a configured boundary, or if it runs out of blocks to mine. No wasted coal!
• Dynamic Statuses: Easily read the machine's state directly in the UI (Mining, Idle, No Fuel, No Drill, Full, or Y Lim).
• Hopper Compatible: Place a hopper on top to insert fuel and another hopper on the bottom to take out items from the Quarry to prevent it from filling up!

🎯 Precision Mining Controls

• Custom Y-Limits: Set an exact Y-coordinate limit using the built-in text field. The Quarry will surgically stop mining exactly where you tell it to—perfect for avoiding deepslate or dangerous lava lakes.
• Drill Bits: The area of effect is determined by the specific tier of Drill Bit you equip. Better drill bits can mine wider areas and at faster speeds! We recommend EMI to view Recipies.

🗃️ Built-in Filtering System

• Advanced 3x3 Filter: The GUI features a 9-slot item filter matrix.
• Whitelist/Blacklist Toggle: Set the filter to [W] (Whitelist) to only mine specific valuable ores, or set it to [B] (Blacklist) to tell the quarry to safely breeze past and ignore junk blocks (upto 9)
