LevelHearts

LevelHearts is a Minecraft datapack that completely changes how experience levels work. Your XP level directly determines your maximum health.

Every level equals exactly 1 HP.

Examples:

  • Level 1 = 1 HP (½ heart)
  • Level 10 = 10 HP (5 hearts)
  • Level 20 = 20 HP (10 hearts, vanilla)
  • Level 50 = 50 HP (25 hearts)
  • Level 100 = 100 HP (50 hearts)
  • Level 200 = 200 HP (100 hearts, maximum)

If you lose levels, your maximum health decreases. If you gain levels, your maximum health increases.

This creates a unique survival experience where progression and survival are directly connected. Experience is no longer just used for enchanting—it becomes essential for staying alive.
