⚡ Lightning Curse Breaker

Mod adds a single, brutally simple mechanic: a lightning strike destroys cursed items. No cleansing, no mercy — cursed gear is burned out of existence. How it works Any item bearing Curse of Binding or Curse of Vanishing is destroyed when struck by lightning.

Wearing a cursed pumpkin? One strike and it's ash. Your head is free — the pumpkin didn't make it. Cursed armor, cursed tools in hand and in inventory — all of it burns. You still take the lightning damage. Freedom has a price.

Fair warning

This cuts both ways. Caught in a thunderstorm with cursed gear you wanted to keep? The storm doesn't ask. Keep your cursed valuables indoors. Design notes

No new items, no new blocks. One mechanic, fully survival-friendly. Non-cursed items are never affected.

Compatibility

NeoForge 1.21.1 Fires on the standard lightning strike event — compatible with any mod that summons lightning Server-side logic, safe for multiplayer
