Description
LIMBO Dimension Datapack
A datapack inspired by the game LIMBO. It adds a new atmospheric dimension to minecraft which can provide a real survival challange if you ar up for it, or you can just marvel at it's beauty. Whichever you feel like doing.
I added a lot of things to it over the years, now it boasts:
- 9 biomes
- A huge dungeon
- Lot's of structures
- Optional ambient sounds
- and a lot more
I want to thank AvicMC for motivating me to update this datapack
You can also acquire gear that is only accessible in the LIMBO dimension so you can either have it as the extension of the endgame or start in it right away.
There is a resource pack that adds music to the dimension, for the best experience. You can get it here: https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/limbo-dimension-sounds
IMPORTANT!
To access the dimension you either have to makea new world with a Bonus Chest that will have the "Essence of LIMBO" that teleports you there. You can also find the "Essence of LIMBO" on end city chests.
If you want to just teleport there, anythime just use the: /function limbo:tp_to_limbo command!
Optimalizations
Due to minecraft not being the most optimized game when it comes to tree generation the datapack can lag out older PCs and servers.
For servers I recommend using a plugin that can pre-generate the world so the player's won't do that themselves. I mean something like Chunky for example.
For a singleplayer experience I recommend using Fast Leaves with Cull Leaves or any leaf culling mod. I also added my optimalization mods as soft dependencies.
