Description
With this mod, you won't need to grind for hours just for a chance at a good enchant. Exponential XP gain is gone, leaving a more consistent, faster method of leveling up!
Ever since the XP system was added, it's always frustrated me that levels require more XP the higher level you are
That mechanic of exponential XP gain is taken from role playing games where leveling up represents a permanent improvement to your character, to encourage you to take on increasingly large challenges rather than just continuously repeating the same actions you did at the beginning of the game
But in Minecraft, XP is a consumable resource. The exponential growth doesn't make sense, and the activities you do on a regular basis stay consistent. This makes XP gain very tedious at higher levels, especially since the enchantment system encourages you to only enchant when you're at level 30 or higher.
XP cost per level can be modified in the config file. By default, it only takes 10 XP to level up. I like to play with 40 XP to level up, but be sure to adjust the config however you like.
This is a mod I commissioned someone else to program for me on Fiverr. There will be no revisions or ports to other versions of Minecraft unless you want to pay the programmers' commission fee.
