Description

Live Status is a lightweight server-side NeoForge mod that automatically adds a configurable LIVE prefix to approved Twitch and Kick streamers while they are broadcasting.

No client installation is required.

Players without the mod will see the LIVE indicator normally.

Configuration changes can be applied without restarting the server.

Configuration

Configuration files are stored in:

config/livestatus/

The mod automatically creates its configuration on first launch.

Everything can be configured, including:

  • Twitch credentials
  • Kick support
  • Update interval
  • Prefix text
  • Prefix color
  • Streamer list
  • Player preferences

Twitch

Live Status uses the official Twitch Helix API.

Create your own Twitch Developer Application and enter its:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

into the configuration file.

No player authentication is required.

Kick

Kick support is optional and can be enabled independently from Twitch.

Designed for Community Servers

Unlike most LIVE status mods, Live Status is designed for community servers where only approved content creators should receive the LIVE indicator.

Only players included in the configured streamer list are checked.
