Logical Lasers
No reviews yet
Adds modular lasers that function as logic gates.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Features machines that process raw materials or automation processes.
Mechanics and features that improve on the Vanilla redstone system, from QoL to compact circuit substitutes.
A mod made using MCreator, which is a tool for creating custom mods without programming knowledge.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Description
Logical Lasers adds a few new blocks that allow the use of modular lasers. These include the solar refractor, prism block, laser intersection, laser splitter, laser converger, redstone transducer, glowstone projector, laser igniter, and laser lock. These are all survival-friendly and can be crafted mostly from amethyst and copper.
To get beams of lasers, you will either need a solar refractor or glowstone projector. A solar refractor will provide a beam in each direction if it is exposed to the sky and it is day time. A glowstone projector requires that you feed glowstone dust into it to cast a beam in one direction. Either way, you can begin to mess with the other blocks to redirect and use the lasers.
A prism cube simply projects a laser beam in all directions if it recieves a laser signal. If that signal is cut off, it stops sending the beams. The laser intersection works very similarly, but projects a laser beam from the opposite side of where it recieves, allowing lasers to pass by each other. A splitter is what could be considered the OR gate. It has two inputs for lasers, and if either of them are activated both of the outputs turn on. The converger is similar to an AND gate, requiring three inputs to provide one output. The laser lock allows a laser to pass through it, and when powered by redstone stops the laser from passing through.
Finally, we have the ending blocks. The redstone transducer provides three redstone outputs if it recieves a laser input. The igniter will rapidly consume netherrack to provide a firey laser beam, setting entities on fire and damaging them.
Two new items have been added to craft these blocks: amethyst reflectors and amethyst prisms. These can each be crafted with two amethyst shards in these shapes:

Amethyst Reflector

Amethyst Prism
Additionally, here are the recipes for the rest of the blocks:

From top to bottom: solar refractor, prism block, laser intersection, laser splitter, laser converger, glowstone projector, laser igniter, laser lock.
I see the applications of these pretty interesting considering the ease of making logic gates with the blocks and translating them into redstone.
No, I will not upload this to X version or X mod modloader, as this was made with MCreator and I can't really do that.
Feel free to use this mod in modpacks as long as you credit me in some way.
