Longer Boats!

This mod adds longer versions of every Vanilla Minecraft boat - including a longer Bamboo Raft. They can be used to carry around multiple entities at once, they can hold up to 4 chests, and they even come with two sets of paddles - so you and a friend (if you have one) can work together to make your boat go faster! Provided you have enough seats left for both of you to sit on after all the chests you attached.

To attach chests to a long boat, no chest boat crafting is needed - just right-click the part of the boat you want the chest on and it'll attach. Happy boating!

For people looking to create or use ice boat racing tracks using these boats, I have a bit of news for you. You know how boats have some strange lag attached to them that makes competitive racing hard? I fixed some of that! By refactoring the boat code for these longer boats so that all the networking stuff functions just like riding horses, I think I've removed that notorious half-second delay, and the packet rate problems have likely also been diminished. This does have the side effect of the physics not being exactly like vanilla boats, and I may tweak that in the future. I am very interested in trying to fix the many problems with boats, and I hope that this mod will serve as a first step to cleaning up some of the oldest code in Minecraft.
