Description

When I was a child I watched DuckTales and the Beagle Boys eat cake with items smuggled in them. This is the reason behind LootCake, to have a cake that you can smuggle stuff in.

*Mod name has changed from ToolCake to LootCake images will change soon.

  • To start with the mod LootCake you will have to take the normal boring vanilla cake and add any item or block in the craftingtable and get a LootCake with the item inside.
  • When placing it there will be a spatula put ontop you need to hold to see each slice that can be eaten.
  • Once enough slices are eaten you can see the item that was put inside, for you to then take out with a empty hand.
  • If you at any time wish to "pick" the cake back up, do so it will still keep track on how many slices, and if the item has been taken out or not.

Mod Description:

LootCake makes use of the vanilla cake and converts it into a smuggling device.

Any item in the crafting grid together with the vanilla cake makes a LootCake.

Check the blacklist what blocks and items are blacklisted from what can be put inside the cake (mostly creative stuff) but If you get a LootCakein the output the item is not blacklisted.

You can put any item/block inside a LootCake, even a full stack.

Once you place a fresh LootCakeon the ground there will be a spatula on top, by right clicking it you get it and is the only way to eat a LootCake.

If you already have a spatula in your inventory any new spatulas will be removed.

Once you are holding the spatula in your hand and are looking at the top of the cake a slice will rise and if you right click you eat that slices if you are hungry.

But if you are not hungry that slice will be put on the spatula for eating later (always edible on spatula).

You can also remove the slice in the crafting grid.

Slices taken from a spatula can stack up to 64, and are edible if hungry.

Once you eat at least 3 slices of the LootCakea item will be displayed inside and you need a empty hand to remove it.

If you eat all the way down to one slice and haven't removed the item you will not be able to finish eating it, you need to remove the item first.

You can pick the LootCakeback up at any time if you mine/break it, even in creative it will drop a Cake with the correct slices removed.

If you don't want players to see what you have put inside the LootCakeyou can put items inside a Package first then add it to the vanilla cake making a LootCakewith a Package inside.

The Package works like the LootCakerecipe, place it and add any item in the crafting grid and the Package will be packed.

You can package a LootCakeand it will be put inside a gift box, when placed the LootCakewill be hidden inside the box.

The recipe for the package needs a spatula, so you first need to get one from a LootCakeand then some wheat and coco beans, the spatula will not be used, nor can it be put back into the a cake.

When the players open a closed package they will get a two cookies, as well as the item that was put inside.

The piece you remove from the LootCakewill be put on the Spatula and can be removed in the crafting grid, to be a separate stackable item. If you wish to eat it later.

Cake slice on a spatula is always edible so you can eat when ever you want. Has the same hunger and saturation as a slice of cake.

You can change the color from iron <vice versa> gold if you add a ingot in the crafting grid and then add the spatula the output goes from 9 Nuggets to a Ingot, telling you that the crafting is enabled.

Rename the vanilla cake in a anvil, any of the following names bellow, and put the named vanilla cake in the crafting bench with a item, and the LootCakewill have the model changed to the ones bellow. As well as having the item text change color. *- Note that the color of the Chocolate Cake is black, next update it will be brown."

*Easter Egg*

  • There are now also a hidden File Tool you can use to file away at iron bars. Try place some pictures and see if you can figure out the way to get it. Good Luck!
  • There are a picture that show what the "Ring Cake" was supposed to be from the start, but then later got changed into what it is now. (D'oh!)
  • For fun, add the "American Pie" to your pants and run around like a fool :D
  • Once you remove the item inside the "American Pie" you will get a hidden "Joke item" it can be turned on/off in config.

Check the config for what you can enable, most things are turned off from the start like the "Joke item", switch it to true and see what you can get. The same goes for turning some tooltips on/off.

LootCake* 2.0 has not been tested in multiplayer. So please keep that in mind when playing with it.

Next update: The mod has changed name to LootCake due to the newest features I am developing that more focus on adding some random loot inside. Thus the namechange. I have also added a bunch of new things, and removed some other. As of now I have a bunch left to do, so I still cant update the mod to its next version.

The Chocolate Cake's color is supposed to be brown, but in the next update this is fixed. There are also a few new blocks added and a few things changed.

If you find any issues please send me a dm or write a comment saying what has happened, and I can try and recreate it and fix it.

Hope you enjoy this mod! Feel free to post a video about it and post it in the comments! Put in modpacks and get others to enjoy your grandmothers recipe of cake/pie, I love to see what others do with my mods!
