LOTM Mystical Items

An addon for LotMCraft that adds mystical items from Lord of the Mysteries. Especially those that Klein had used.

This mod uses the base mod artifact wheel keybind.

This mod add a new bindable keybind for item introspect, the default is G.

Here are the list of the available mystical item currently present:

Creeping Hunger

A Sequence 5 Hanged Man mystical item, correspond to Shepherd ability.

  • Kill a Beyonder while holding it in either hand to graze their soul. It holds up to 5 souls, gaining a random 1-3 abilities from their pathway and sequence to the glove's ability wheel.
  • Press V to select which ability you want to use, then right-click to use the selected ability. Open Item Introspect (default G) to switch souls, reorder or disable abilities, manage the reserve, and watch the feeding timer. Right-click to use the active soul's selected ability.
  • It must be fed. Keep a soul in the reserve, and once per in-game day (24000 ticks) the glove devours it and spits out that Beyonder's Characteristic. If the reserve is empty when the day is up, it feeds on you, and immediatly kills you. Demigods may still cheat it with their own abilities, in which case Creeping Hunger stays hungry and tries again a minute later.
  • Releasing a soul spits its beyonder characteristic back out.
  • Sequence 4 and below cannot be grazed (configurable).
  • Found rarely in chests, and dropped by Qilangos NPC. It has no crafting recipe.

Awakened Creeping Hunger

Seven soul slots and a quicker soul cycle with Z (left) and X (right). Grazing lets you choose one ability yourself, plus 1-2 more rolled at random. It can hold a single Sequence 4 soul (configurable), it has also developed an intense fear of mushrooms, no ability can be used within 5 blocks of one. And three times a day (8000 ticks) it turns to pray and will recite the honorific names of the True Creator. You'll get a small damage and loss sanity if you hold the item while it pray to it's lord and savior.

Craft it from a Creeping Hunger, five One Pounds, and the Cataclysmic Interrer, Manipulator, and Unshadowed Characteristics.

Qilangos

A hostile Sequence 6 Tyrant Beyonder in a pirate captain's guise. He spawns in the overworld, more often near coasts. He fights with Tyrant abilities plus the souls stored in his own Creeping Hunger. When he dies he drops a Creeping Hunger pre-loaded with five souls. 

WIP Staff of the Stars

A powerful staff whose hits inflict Mutation.

  • While held, it witnesses abilities cast within 24 blocks and learns them. The more it has seen an ability, the more reliably it can reenact it.
  • Press V to select which ability you want to use, then right click to casts the selected ability. Shift + right-click opens the teleport menu with saved slots and typed destinations. Press G (Item Introspect) to reorder or toggle abilities and forget abilities.
  • Saved destinations is more reliable than typed destinations, the latter may teleport you into unknown random place.
  • When you failed at ability reenactment, or teleport into the wrong places, you'll get a new status effect called Panic. This effect stack up to V, in this state the staff can randomly teleport you, and at high Panic it may cast abilities on its own. 
  • Craft it from 8 One Pounds around a Planeswalker Characteristic. It can also show up in chests.
