MOD IS EXTREMELY WIP!!!
RECOMMENDED TO PLAY WITH SOME PERFORMANCE MODS.
Lovecraft: Beyond the Abyss is a mod that adds total 7 dimensions, which is heavily inspired from cthulhu mythos style cosmic horror. (but no direct reference)

How to Start :
After you defeat ender dragon, some myterious guy will tell his location.
you can find his hut at location. (only exist 1 per map)
Enter the hut, then right click to talk with him.
After talk is finished, he will give you the clam of guidance.
Right clicking clam will open it and shows you location of the portal. (only exist 1 per map)
After you found portal, right click it with clam will open the portal.
Then you can enter the deep abyss through portal.
for now, you can't back to overworld until die. (when dimension is fully finished, you can escape after defeat final boss of dimension)

Dimensions :
1. Deep Abyss
basically a deep sea dimension.
without flashlight or night vision, you can't see anything.
also have ceiling like nether.
Biomes :
1. Death Valley

A biome with full of bones and corpses.
currently actively being worked on.
Mobs :
1. Gnasher
A fishes that swim as a group. (boid)
sometimes you can find leader of group.
attacking leader will panic them and disable boid.
2. Siamserpent (or Twinserpent)
A conjoined twin skeletal serpent where each head have their own characteristic during combat.
- This twin can change side where one is aggroing while the dormant one accomodate them during battle.They can change side by themselves or when player deal so much damage to aggro one.
- Player can attack the dormant head in order to give the aggro one a disadvantage during battle.
Melee Side:
Fight with directional attack that boosted by a beam jet from the other head.
Disabling the other head will make them very slow and change their attack method to regular mc mob melee attack.
Ranged Side:
Firing a concentrated ray of beam with high accuracy (Animation and Sound cue can be used so player know when to dodge), where the other head act as an anchor that one the ground for stability.
Disabling the other head will make them lose their balance and change their attack method by shooting several energy ball to opponent but with low accuracy, makes it easier to dodge.
3. Spine Worm
A bone armored worm, that lives in the ocean floor of Death Valley biome their stretchy body and strong mandibles allows them to catch their prey very easily.
Stay in one spot, extend their body to reach their preys.
They use their large mandibles to caught their target and pull them the ground, while dealing continuous damage after that.
Dealing damage that higher than 1.5 heart will make spine worm release you.
4. Gloomfish
A small ambient fishes that also do boid like gnashers.
5. Corpse Angler
A large angler fish-like mob that burrow themselves into the ground and use a corpse trap to catch their dumbfounded prey.
Naturally spawn burying themselves on the ground, with only their angler sticking out from the ground.
6. Mutavore
A strange creature with a large mouth and a multiple tentacle that can be used to move, they need to eat a bone and flesh of a slain creature in order to gain an ability to mutate a body part which will makes them more powerful. This giving a challenge for player to maintain the the attack from other mobs while preventing the Mutavore to eat their death bodies.
7. Fulgastra
A strange jellyfish-like creature.
use it's health to split itself and creates electronic jelly fish mines.
after mines explode, they will back to owner and recover it's health.
player can kill mines before they back, or kill real fulgastra when it have low health.

8. Necroshell
A hermit crab-like mob, they mimic siamserpent skull.

2. Spire Hollow
A rocky biome that have thorny spikes on surface.
you can enter underground cave through crack in surface.
when you enter cave, boss will be automatically spawned. (only in survival mode)
Boss :
1. Ghidruth, the Stone Shark
a shark with very hard skin like a stone.
currently very wip, so attack patterns are incompleted.
mechanic :
normally it takes only 1/10 damage.
but if player is far away from it, it will dash toward player.
and if it hit a wall while doing a dash, it become stunned for a short duration.
while stunned, it will take x3 damage.

3. Wailing Reef
WIP.
and more of biomes are planned.
Weapons :
1. Tooth Shotgun
A shotgun that shoot gnasher tooth.
2. Skeletal Gunblade
Can change mode via shift-rightclick.
while in blade mode, left click will have normal swing attack.
while in gun mode, holding right click will charge railgun.
releasing it will shoot laser beam.

Below dimensions are not being worked on for now, they are still incompleted and buggy.
2. Evergreen
basically dense forest dimension.
above screenshot shows terrain shape of dimension (obviously shrinked for take picture)
basically, dimension have 3 layer of forest biomes, deeper biomes will be have less light and more dangerous.
and outside of first forest is called foggy plains, it's extremly dangerous and not supposed to go in game play wise.
Biomes :
1. Green Forest
first layer of dimension, players will be spawned in here.
still dangerous compared to overworld, but very peaceful compared to deeper layers.
2. Dark Forest
second layer of dimension, lights are less than green forest, trees are become taller and larger.
3. Death Forest
third layer of dimension, almost no lights and trees are much more large and tall.
a place where sabueso mansion exists.
4. Foggy Plains
ironically, more dangerous than death forest.
you can't see almost anything due to fog, and something will trying to hunt you.
3. Mirrored City

a city dimension that have another upside-down city on sky.
fog in dimension will be changed to smth like weather system.
mob designs are supposed to be a combination of flesh and mecha.
4. Moon
just a moon that everyone knows.
have low gravity and can't breath without space suit.
5. Endless Desert
a desert dimension.
planning a massive pyramid and sandstorm. (weather system)
6. Purgatory
basically just a hell and final destination of player.
planning demon invasion system.
extremely WIP.
7. Outer Space
extra dimension for after player defeat all demons.
probably a best place for put cosmic horror style things alongside moon.
