By sleeping in a bed, you have a 10% chance of lucid dreaming. Sleeping near amethyst blocks increases your odds.

While dreaming, you can float and traverse the landscape, scoping out biomes and structures.

Lucid Dreaming is a Minecraft mod that turns sleeping into a chance to enter a dream-like version of the world.

When the player sleeps in a bed, there is a 10% chance that they will begin lucid dreaming. Sleeping near amethyst blocks increases the chance of entering a lucid dream.

During a lucid dream, the player can float through the world and travel across the landscape from the air. This makes it possible to explore the surrounding area, look for biomes, structures, terrain, and other interesting locations without travelling normally on the ground.

The experience is intended to make nighttime feel misty, surreal, and dream-like while giving the player a new way to explore their Minecraft world.

The player can press R at any time while dreaming to wake up and return to normal gameplay.

The mod is based on a concept by author Mark Cheverton.
