This mod is an add-on for Kaleidoscope Cookery: Kitchen.

It modifies all food items from Kaleidoscope Cookery: Kitchen that can be placed as blocks. You can now arrange them into a full meal, sit on a chair, and enjoy them in one sitting to gain long-lasting buffs.

Foods now have quality. When a player successfully completes a cooking process, the food's quality is randomly determined based on their Cooking Level — the higher the overall quality of the meal, the stronger the buffs you receive.

Currently, there are no equipment items that boost cooking skill, but players can improve their Cooking Level by successfully preparing dishes multiple times.

Additionally, food has freshness, which gradually decreases over time. High freshness enhances quality, but if freshness drops too low, even the finest meal will become spoiled and disgusting. So don't wait too long — eat your food while it's fresh!

When you stand up from the chair, digestion begins. Based on the types of food consumed, you’ll gain various beneficial effects.

Furthermore, all stat-boosting effects can be customized via data packs, allowing server owners and modpack creators full control over balance and progression.
