Lunar's katanas

This mod adds 6 brand new KATANAS to the game!

All the katanas fit wel within minecrafts lore and some are based on special mobs or biomes. The other 3 are made with vanilla ores. The katanas are all high quality, 3 of them even having special abilities! These katanas are really powerfull but hard to make. Use them on your next adventure, or in combination with other mods.

All katanas are pretty straight forward to use, but let me explain anyways: The katanas fall under the weapons tab in the Creative inventory and act as swords. Only a simple right click when holding the sword is necessary to use any of the special abilities. Good luck!

Vanilla katanas:

There are 3 katanas that are like normal Minecraft swords and work in tiers. Meaning they are similar to how swords work in having variants: The Iron Katana, Diamond Katana and, Netherite Katana. These are all just slightly more expensive and more powerfull variants of swords. All katanas also release a few extra slashes around the user when used to attack.

Iron Katana:

The iron katana deals 1 more point of damage than a normal iron sword totalling 7 attack damage and has 0.2 more attack speed. The recipe is quite simple just costing one iron sword and 2 iron ingots in a diagonal line from the bottom left of the crafting table to the top right. The extra slashes of this sword have a small range.

Gold Katana: (New 1.0.1)

The Golden Katana is the weakest of all the katanas only dealing 5 attack damage. But it is very flashy! Once you've made the Golden Katana you will simply be magnificent with all your sparks and flashes. The recipe is the smae as the other basic katanas just switching out the other ores for gold. The extra slashes of this sword have a small range.

Diamond Katana:

The diamond katana deals 8 points of damage making it slightly stronger than its iron counterpart, the attack speed however stays the same. The basics of the recipe stay the same aswell just switching out any iron for diamond. The extra slash range is also slightly bigger.

Netherite Katana:

The strongest version of the basic katanas is the Netherite Katana. It deals 9 damage making it deal one more point of damage than the diamond version. Extra slashes from this weapon also reach further and upon using these slashes you will also summon some smoke that could help you in the right situation. It is made in a smithing table using: A Diamond Katana, Netherite and, a Netherite upgrade template.

Special Katanas:

Next to the three basic katanas this mod also adds 3 special katanas. These katanas have there own unique abilities.  The Ancient Katana, Soul Katana and, Ender Katana fall into this catagory. Ofcourse for the extra power these katanas grant, the price to make them also goes up. All special katanas deal 12 attack damage and have a 1.8 attack speed. The base material to make all these katanas is a Nehterite katana.

Ancient Katana:

The Ancient Katana is made using materials found in the ancient cities or deep dark. Its model fits this theme using the same colors and shapes. One of the items necessary is a brand new item called: The Warden Heart. This is a new common drop uppon defeating the warden, giving this epic mob a reason to exist. The other items necessary can all be found in the ancient city including: two echo shards and, one sculk shrieker. Now you might be wandering what this weapon has to offer apart from more dammage and attack speed. Well this katana can summon an Ancient/Warden knight to aid you in combat. This mob has exactly half of the wardens HP and deals a significant amount of damage. A worthy allie to fight alongside you.

Soul Katana:

This katana is strongly connected to the deadly wither boss. Using its drops in the recipe for this fierce sword. It takes one Nether star, two wither roses and, one wither skeleton skull to make. The Soul Katana also has a special ability in the form of a soul storm that will hit everything around the player, dealing damage and applying a wither effect. The strength of this attack combined with plenty of flashy particles makes for an awesome ability.

Ender Katana:

The katana known as the Ender katana is made by using materials found in or associated with the end. The crafting recipe takes one dragon head, one bottle of dragons breath and two eyes of ender. This sword has a special ability as well just like the other special katanas. This katana because of its close relation to the end and its guardian the Ender Dragon, allows you to shoot the same fireballs this beast does. This makes the katana a decent ranged weapon aswell.

Blazing Katana:

Feel the heat of the Blazing Katana as you scorch your opponents! This katana is made with fiery materials from the Nether and has some just as hot abilities. It uses 1 pig step music disc, 2 blaze rods, and the new Ghastly Sorrow item obatainable by killing ghasts with a 10% drop chance.

Gravity Katana:

Squish your enemies with the brand new Gravity Katana. This Katana is the now one and only Katana with 2 abilities. With a normal right click you send your foes flying into the air but, by sneaking and right clicking you squish them down making them unable to move. Made with gravity related items like a shulkerbox based on the shulkers levitation and the two elevator block: Soul sand and Magma. 

Advancements:

This mod also adds advancements to your game related to these weapons. I'm not going to go into detail on these so you can explore them yourself when playing the game.
