Lycanthropy

Werewolves roam the overworld, both as mobs and as players. Curse yourself to become a werewolf and gain unmatched strength and agility, at the cost of your humanity. The curse can be reversed, but is it worth it in the end?

Lycanthropy allows players to transform into a werewolf at night, increasing some of their statistics, but at the cost of not being able to use some equipment. These abilities can be upgraded using experience in a custom "level up" screen.

Werewolf monsters spawn during full moons, and hunt animals and players. Their drops are required for progression.

Players become werewolves by crafting a Wolf Charm, which can be crafted using drops from Werewolf monsters. The curse can be reversed by consuming a golden chalice, returning the player back into a human at all times, but losing the werewolf transformation.
