MOD IN DEVELOPMENT EXPECT BUGS
Do you want more hostile mobs? Bored of basic Minecraft mobs? This mod is for you.
This is my first Minecraft mod, the goal is to add more hostile monsters/mobs to Minecraft while maintaining the vanilla style of the game, I don't know exactly how many mobs there will be at the end of the development of this mod, but I will add mobs from time to time depending on my possibilities and my ideas, I hope you like my mod, especially if you are one of the people who likes to have different types of enemies in Minecraft.
At the moment only a few mobs has been added. I accept ideas/requests from you!
Mobs Added:
• Fallen Adventurer
An ancient adventurer who succumbed to the dangers of the overworld and suffered a terrible fate, now wanders through dark areas looking for victims to hunt. It seems that he suffered the same curse as the zombies but something strange happened in that process and he became stronger than normal, although that cost him his skin which is now like that of a wither skeleton.
This mob is a combination of a zombie and a skeleton, but stronger, it can appear with a stone sword or a bow and will use it to attack its victim, they can switch between the two weapons depending on the distance of the target. it can also appear with sets of iron, mail, and leather armor.
It will attack the player in sight as well as the villagers/golems. It will only appear in the overworld in dark areas in groups of 1 to 3.
Drops rotten flesh, arrows, iron, coal.

• Alchemist Skeleton
A common skeleton that likes to play with potions, it seems that he has found a way to transmit his inventions through the arrows he carries, he is much smarter than an average skeleton, the stray is envious of him.
This skeleton will shoot arrows at you with random negative effects, such as blindness, poison, hunger, weakness, etc. He has a low spawn range, he drops the same as a normal skeleton and a witch combined, consider eliminating him first if you find him accompanied by other mobs as he could be annoying.
He is immune to potions, so killing him with instant healing potions is impossible.

• Sharpshooter Skeleton
A skeleton that has very good sighting skills, the best skeleton in his class, clearly the other skeletons would like to have the same bow skills that he has... The stray is also envious of him.
This skeleton has much greater vision range and much more attack distance also shoots arrows slightly faster than any skeleton. It is advisable to use a little of his own medicine, since it usually has too much attack distance.

• Deep Dark Skeleton
A skeleton who discovered the deep dark, could not find a way out and merged with the environment, his soul was consumed and he is now a puppet that reacts to the nearby movement of a player.
This skeleton gives a little more mechanics to the deep dark areas, it remains still in its spawn place and does not make any noise and is only activated when a player enters its aggro range, then it will shoot arrows with blindness and if a sculk shrieker is nearby, well you know what will happen. It does not appear in the ancient city, only in the deep dark biome.

• Broken Automaton
Ancient automatons that were created a long time ago, although it is unknown who created these automata, it is well known that they are not friendly and do not have good intentions, they know how to use the bow and the sword.
Be careful with these as they can represent a danger if you are not well armed, automatons that carry bows will shoot spectral arrows, they appear in groups of 1 to 2.

• Vanilla monster variants (Jungle/Frozen)
Mobs from Minecraft Dungeons.
They appear in their respective biomes and have minecraft dungeon mechanics/sounds too.

• Phantom Skeleton
Phantom... what!? It seems that these skeletons suffered some side effects after dying from the phantoms, after all they are still afraid of wolves...
Very slow shooting speed but I assure you that you will not want one of their arrows to hit you, you will fulfill your dream of flying. And, it's another source of phantom membrane drops, it seems that some membranes got stuck in his bones.

Report bugs if you find one, let me know what do you think! If you want some mob added comment and maybe i will add it!
Bugs: Not found yet.
FAQ:
- Will you eventually add more hostile mobs, and maybe non-hostile mobs?
A = Yes, as time goes by, ideas occur to me or I have requests for certain mobs, I will possibly do them. - I have a bug or I need the mod to move to another version of Minecraft!
A = If you have bugs or suggestions, tell me, and about other versions of Minecraft of course, if I see that several people want this mod in a certain version I will try to port it to that version! - How can I support you? I really liked your mod.
A = You can support me by creating a server using my BisectHosting link or by donating directly through the link to my Ko-fi page! (link above) This motivates me to make more mods, it's something I want to get into eventually, thank you very much!

📖 About Lynch’s Hostile Mobs Expansion
Step into a Minecraft world where danger and mystery are never far away. Lynch’s Hostile Mobs Expansion adds three unique and immersive hostile mobs that bring new life to the Overworld, enhancing combat, strategy, and exploration while keeping the vanilla spirit alive.
✨ Features
🌾 Scarecrow – Once abandoned in forgotten fields, this living scarecrow hunts those who wander too close. Armed with bows, hoes, and sometimes enchanted armor, it strikes with deadly precision and can even fire poison arrows.
⚗️ Alchemist Skeleton – A tactical skeleton that uses potion-enhanced arrows to debilitate its enemies. Weakness, Hunger, Slowness, and more make it a dangerous “support” mob, forcing players to prioritize it in battle.
🗡️ Undead Hunter – A mysterious hunter roaming the Overworld, equally deadly against players and undead. With enchanted weapons and specialized arrows, it adapts its tactics depending on the target, making every encounter unpredictable and thrilling.
🔎 Mob info
🌾 Scarecrow
Once abandoned by the farmers who built it, this humble scarecrow has come to life with a thirst for revenge. Left alone in forgotten fields and overgrown farmlands, it now stalks the forests, plains, and savannas, seeking to punish anyone who crosses its path.
Behavior & Combat:
👹 Hostile to players, bats, parrots, and iron golems
🏞️ Spawns only on the surface in forest, plains, and savanna biomes
🎃 May spawn with one of these heads: Pumpkin, Carved Pumpkin, Jack o’ Lantern, or Melon
🛡️ May wear leather chestplates or pants, sometimes randomly dyed
🏹 Primary weapon: Bow (can shoot poison arrows occasionally)
⛏️ Secondary weapon: Hoe (tier: wood, stone, iron; may appear enchanted)
💉 Uses ranged attacks at a distance, switches to melee when close
💖 Health: 18 HP
✨ XP Drop: 5 XP
Fun Fact:
The scarecrow’s aim and the strength/duration of its poison adapt to the game’s difficulty — the harder you play, the deadlier it becomes. Beware the fields… something sinister is watching from the tall grass. 🌾

⚗️ Alchemist Skeleton
This isn’t your ordinary skeleton. Through years of study in the dark arts of alchemy, it discovered the deadly potential of potions… and now it applies them to its arrows. Sporting a pair of stylish protective goggles (because chemistry is dangerous, after all 🥽), this skeleton turns every encounter into a strategic battle of status effects.
Behavior & Combat:
👹 Hostile to players and other mobs as a normal skeleton
🏹 Uses a slow but deadly shooting pattern, carefully selecting a potion arrow for each shot
💀 Every time it readies a shot, a random negative effect appears in its offhand, signaling the next arrow’s effect
🔮 Possible effects: Weakness I, Hunger II, Slowness II, Poison I, Nausea I, Blindness I, Bad Luck I
⚡ Acts as a "support" mob for other hostile mobs — taking it down first is often the smartest strategy
💖 Shares the same health, loot, spawn mechanics, and behavior as a regular skeleton
Fun Fact:
Though its attacks are slower than a normal skeleton, the Alchemist Skeleton can be incredibly annoying and tactical, punishing players who ignore it. Approach with caution… ⚗️💀

🗡️ Undead Hunter
A shadow moves through the lands of Minecraft, neither fully human nor fully understood. Known only as the Undead Hunter, it walks the Overworld with a singular purpose: to hunt both players and the undead alike. Legends whisper that it possesses ancient knowledge of dealing with the undead, striking with precision and ruthlessness.
Behavior & Combat:
👹 Hostile to players and any mob tagged as UNDEAD
🏞️ Can spawn anywhere in the Overworld, often clad in random armor sets (leather, chainmail, or iron), sometimes enchanted
🏹 Primary weapon: Bow
🗡️ Secondary weapon: Wooden Axe, Wooden Sword, or Stone Sword (always enchanted with Smite II)
💖 Health: 20 HP | 🛡️ Armor: 4 | ✨ XP Drop: 5 XP
⚔️ Uses ranged attacks for distant enemies and switches to melee when close
💉 Against undead: fires Instant Healing arrows
🏹 Against others: fires normal arrows
🎯 Tactical and deadly, it prioritizes undead with specialized attacks while never hesitating to challenge a player who crosses its path
Fun Fact:
The Undead Hunter is a master of strategy in combat — it adapts its tactics depending on its enemy, making every encounter unpredictable. Approach with caution… or risk becoming its next target. 👁️🗡️
