Description
This mod backports the mace item and its relevant advancement introduced in vanilla 24w11a.
A mace is a melee weapon that deals more damage the farther the player falls before hitting the target
and negating the fall damage of the player if the mace lands a successful hit.
Maces are configurable!
Check .minecraft/config/maced-common.toml for details.
Heavy Core and Breeze Rod, as the mace's crafting ingredients, are missing in older versions,
so the mod's recipe has changed accordingly (Derec__'s idea):

Mace Combat Backport for Fabric reintroduces mace combat from newer Minecraft versions to older ones. It enhances attacks with new animations, damage tweaks, and knockback effects, all optimized for the Fabric mod loader. Ideal for players on older versions.
