Just say "no!" to Retina — now for Minecraft 26.3!

This mod is heavily inspired by retiNO, bringing its core idea to newer Minecraft versions. It makes Minecraft render at half resolution on Retina displays, significantly reducing the performance impact of high-DPI rendering on macOS.

This project is currently in beta and was created specifically for Minecraft 26.3.

Credits: This mod is 100% inspired by retiNO by its original author. The idea and functionality are based on retiNO, adapted and updated for Minecraft 26.3.

Compatibility

This mod is primarily intended for macOS with Retina displays. On other platforms, it may load but does not provide any meaningful functionality.

If you're using a renderer that already provides similar resolution-scaling functionality, you may not need this mod.
