Maddy's Origins

Summary and Philosophy

Maddy's Origins is a total re-imagining of Origins' built-in set of origins focused on cohesive, fun play. Rather than an eclectic grab-bag of features and forfeits, each origin's traits blend to give it a unique character and playstyle. Swoop through the skies and crash into windows as an Avian; sink like a rock and walk along the ocean floor as a Construct; or take a dip in molten rock as a Netherdweller! Even the drawbacks will feel like logical, flavorful parts of your lifestyle.

Every part of Maddy's Origins has been carefully designed to create a complete, cohesive experience for every origin -- determining how you play, what tools you use, what your base might look like, and even the food you eat. Experience learning how to play Minecraft as a whole different species!

Compatibility

Maddy Origins is a complete overhaul of Origins, and as such is unlikely to be compatible with other Origins addons and overhauls that modify the base origin layer. Using Maddy Origins alongside other such addons is unsupported.

Maddy Origins has integration with the following mods:

• Farmer's Delight
• My Nether's Delight
• Brewin' and Chewin'
• Nears

Almost all features that interact with specific blocks, items, and fluids are tag-based, and can be amended with simple datapacks. If you use Maddy's Origins with mods that require alterations for compatibility, please submit any tweaks you make to the Maddy's Origins Github for inclusion in later releases!
