Description
Made In Sleep
MadeInSleep is an immersive sleep overhaul add-on designed to replace the vanilla "instant morning" teleport with a smooth, realistic time-lapse experience. Take a nap to heal your wounds, or gather your friends in bed to make the night fly by!
⚠️ REQUIRED DEPENDENCY: This mod is an official add-on and requires [DayTimeControl] to function. It will not work without it!
✨ Key Features
-
Smooth Time Acceleration: Sleeping at night no longer instantly skips to morning. Instead, it dynamically accelerates the world's time until the sun comes up.
-
Dynamic Multiplayer Scaling: No more arguing about who needs to sleep! The time acceleration speed scales based on the percentage of players sleeping.
-
Example: If you have 10 players online and 6 go to sleep, the time will speed up by 60% of the maximum multiplier. The more people sleep, the faster the night goes!
-
-
Daytime Napping: Want to rest without skipping the day? You can now sleep during the daytime! It won't accelerate time, but it will heal you. A friendly on-screen message will let you know: "You are taking a nap during the day. (No time acceleration)".
-
Sleep Healing: Resting in a bed slowly regenerates your health over time (Default: Heals 1 HP every 10 seconds).
-
Automatic Wake-Up: Once the sun rises, all sleeping players are naturally and automatically woken up from their beds.
⚙️ Configuration
You can fully customize the mod to fit your server's needs. After running the game once, find the config file at: root_folder/run/config/madeinsleep-common.toml
Available Options:
-
healIntervalTicks: How often the player heals while sleeping. (Default: 200 ticks / 10 seconds). -
healAmount: How much health is restored per interval. (Default: 1 HP / Half a heart). -
maxSpeedMultiplier: The maximum time acceleration speed when playing solo or when 100% of the server is sleeping. (Default: 10.0x normal speed).
🤝 Compatibility & Setup
Because this mod seamlessly integrates with DayTimeControl, it gracefully disables the vanilla playersSleepingPercentage gamerule mechanics and takes over the time logic entirely. Your custom day/night lengths from DayTimeControl will remain perfectly synced with the sleep acceleration!
