Instead of hoarding enchanted books, you can extract their power, store it permanently, and use it again whenever you want. Upgrade your library, unlock stronger features, and eventually push enchantments beyond vanilla limits.

## Progression

### Apprentice Library

The basic starting tier.

• Extract enchantments

• Discover enchantments up to level II

### Adept Library

A stronger and more efficient upgrade.

• Discover enchantments up to level IV

### Archmage Library

The final tier for endgame players.

• Direct gear enchanting
• Unlimited discovery
• Supports the Tome of Amplification

## Tome of Amplification

A powerful endgame tool that lets you increase enchantments beyond their normal maximum level.

• Costs XP and rare materials
• Configurable maximum levels
• Works with modded enchantments automatically

## Magical Energy

Libraries need **ME** to function.

Possible fuel sources:

• Redstone
• Glowstone Dust
• Amethyst Shards
• Nether Stars (Archmage tier only)

Power usage is fully configurable and can also be disabled in the config file.

Magic Library is built with modpacks in mind.

• Auto-generates config entries for all enchantments
• Supports modded enchantments out of the box
• Fully configurable rules and caps
• No manual compatibility patches needed

## Configuration File

• Change enchantment level caps
• Disable power upkeep or disable the power system entirely
• Allow enchantments that normally conflict to be applied together
  • Disabled by default

## Commands

• `/magiclibrary make <target> supreme`
  • When the target accesses an Archmage Library, all enchantments at their vanilla caps and 1000  points will be added to that library's storage
